Born 1969 in South Tyrol, Italy, Egon was brought up in the small village of "La Villa",
in the core of the Dolomite Alps. Here he discovered, at an early age, his love for the mountains and nature. This setting gave him confidence and an understanding of the importance and value of contact with and movement in nature.

After high school he started travelling, and made a variety of extended world journeys, where he soon discovered the passion for alternative medicine and ancient wisdom, which brought him towards the philosophy and practice of "Zen Shiatsu" and Yoga.

He started his intensive ZenShiatsu studies in Munich, Milan and Switzerland. At the same time he attended the 3 year “Heilpraktiker” school (Naturopathy) and earned his diploma.
After practicing for some years in Germany and Italy, he moved to Switzerland where he started up his own studio.
